AME Association of Ontario - National Conference
For over 50 years, the Ontario Aircraft Maintenance Conference has been a cornerstone of the aviation industry, uniting professionals, exhibitors, and teams from across Canada. As our reach has expanded, we are proud to introduce a new name that reflects our national presence: The National Aircraft Maintenance Conference and Skills Challenge.
This event remains the largest gathering of aviation maintenance professionals in Canada, offering premier training, networking, and the original AME Skills Challenge. While the name has evolved, we continue to honor our strong roots with the Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Association of Ontario and our commitment to the entire Canadian aviation maintenance community.

Join Canada’s premier aircraft maintenance competition! This high-energy event showcases top teams from Airlines, the Canadian Armed Forces, General Aviation, and the Corporate sector. Compete for national recognition and fantastic prizes!

Opportunity Knocks - Back to the Land (King City)
Opportunity Knocks celebrates it's 12th year providing career and training opportunities for urban indigenous high-school youth. This year, youth will enjoy two days and one night at the YMCA Cedar Glen Outdoor Center, participating in land-based activities and lessons to deepen their cultural connections to land and nature

Girls in Aviation Day (Porter Hangar - YYZ)
Join us to discover aviation careers through hands-on STEM activities, explore thrilling aircraft displays, and connect with aviation professionals! This event is geared towards a younger crowd, although all participants are welcome. AAWD will be on site with our interactive displays and available information at our booth.

Skydrive 2025
AAWD is extremely excited to announce that we will be exhibiting at SkyDrive Airshow London – Canada’s original drive in airshow – taking place September 5-7, 2025. This event will feature a traditional air show performance plus static display, food, and merchandise vendors. Air Show weekend welcomes over 30,000 fans over the weekend. Airshow London is a non-profit organization and is committed to raising funds and awareness for Children’s Health Foundation, Veterans, their families & Veteran charities and aviation scholarships for students. AAWD will have stand up displays and information at our booth.

This Zone will be open to the public from 10am - 4pm daily on each Air Show Day (Aug 30, 31, Sept 1). This area will be available to all of the fans watching the air show as well as the ticketed guests of the Canadian International Air Show. Pop-Up VR will have their immersive virtual reality experiences available. AAWD will have stand up displays and information at our booth.
